Verse 1 — Surah Al-Imran 3:1
Alif-Lam-Mim
Verse 2 — Surah Al-Imran 3:2
Allah! There is no one worthy of worship but He (Allah), the Living, the Sustainer
Verse 3 — Surah Al-Imran 3:3
He has sent down to you (Muhammad) the book (the Qur’an) with truth confirming what came before it. He sent down the Torah and the Gospel
Verse 4 — Surah Al-Imran 3:4
before as a guidance for mankind. And He sent down Al-Furqan (the criterion to judge between right and wrong (this Qur’an)). Surely, those who disbelieve in the Verses of Allah, for them there is a severe punishment; and Allah is All-Mighty, All-Able of retribution
Verse 5 — Surah Al-Imran 3:5
Surely, nothing is hidden from Allah, in the earth or in the heaven
Verse 6 — Surah Al-Imran 3:6
It is He who shapes you in the wombs as He wills. There is no one worthy of worship but He (Allah), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
Verse 7 — Surah Al-Imran 3:7
It is He who has sent down to you (Muhammad) the book (this Qur’an). In it are Verses absolutely clear, they are the basis of the book; and others are not entirely clear. As for those in whose hearts there is deviation (from the truth), they follow what is unclear thereof, seeking mischief, and seeking for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly rooted in knowledge say: “We believe in it, all from our Lord." None will heed except the people of understanding
Verse 8 — Surah Al-Imran 3:8
(They say): "Our Lord! Don’t deviate our hearts (from the truth) after You has guided us, and grant us Mercy from You. Surely You are the Bestower (of bounties)
Verse 9 — Surah Al-Imran 3:9
Our Lord! Surely, You will gather mankind together on the Day, there is no doubt in it. Surely, Allah does not break His Promise.”
Verse 10 — Surah Al-Imran 3:10
Surely, those who disbelieve, neither their wealth nor their offspring will avail them anything from Allah and it is they who will be fuel of the fire
Verse 11 — Surah Al-Imran 3:11
(This will be) like the behavior of people of Pharaoh and those before them. They misrepresented Our Verses, so Allah destroyed them for their sins. Allah is Severe in punishment
Verse 12 — Surah Al-Imran 3:12
Say (O Muhammad) to those who disbelieve: “You will be defeated and gathered together to hell, and that is an evil resting place.”
Verse 13 — Surah Al-Imran 3:13
Indeed there was a sign for you in 2 groups which met in combat (in the battle of Badr): One group was fighting in the cause of Allah and the other was disbelievers. They (the believers) saw them (the disbelievers) twice (in number) of them with their own eyes. Allah supports with His victory whom He wills. Surely, in this is a lesson for those who have sight
Verse 14 — Surah Al-Imran 3:14
Beautified is for men with love of things they desire from women, children, store up heaps of gold and silver, branded (beautiful) horses and cattle, and land. These are the pleasure of the life of this world; but Allah has the excellent return (Paradise) with Him
Verse 15 — Surah Al-Imran 3:15
Say (O Muhammad): “Shall I inform you of far better things than those? For those who fear, there are gardens with their Lord in Paradise beneath which rivers flow. They will abide forever in it, with pure spouses. And Allah will be pleased with them. Allah is All-Seer of (His) servants.”
Verse 16 — Surah Al-Imran 3:16
Those who say: “Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from punishment of the fire;”
Verse 17 — Surah Al-Imran 3:17
who are patient, truthful, and obedient with sincere devotion in worship to Allah, who spend, pray and beg Allah’s forgiveness in the last Hours of the night
Verse 18 — Surah Al-Imran 3:18
Allah bears witness that there is no one worthy of worship but He (Allah), and the angels and those having knowledge, standing firm on justice. There is no one worthy of worship but He (Allah), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
Verse 19 — Surah Al-Imran 3:19
Surely, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after what the knowledge had come to them through transgression among themselves. Those who disbelieve in the Verses of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in reckoning
Verse 20 — Surah Al-Imran 3:20
If they argue with you (Muhammad) say: “I have submitted myself to Allah (in Islam), and (so are) those who follow me.” Say to those who were given the Scripture and the illiterates (Arab pagans): “Do you submit yourselves (to Allah)?” If they submit, then indeed they are rightly guided. But if they turn away, then (don’t worry) your duly is to convey the message. Allah is All-Seer of (His) servants
Verse 21 — Surah Al-Imran 3:21
Surely! Those who disbelieve in the Verses of Allah, kill the prophets without right, and kill those people who command with justice; then give them tidings of a painful punishment
Verse 22 — Surah Al-Imran 3:22
They are those whose works will be lost in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers
Verse 23 — Surah Al-Imran 3:23
Have you not seen those who have been given a portion of the Scripture? When they are invited to the book of Allah to settle their disputes, a party from them turns away, and they are averse
Verse 24 — Surah Al-Imran 3:24
This is because they say: “The fire shall not touch us but for few days." And they deceive them in their religion by what they used to invent
Verse 25 — Surah Al-Imran 3:25
What (will it be) when We will gather them together on a Day (there is) no doubt in it, every one will be paid (for) what they have earned, and none will be dealt unjustly
Verse 26 — Surah Al-Imran 3:26
Say (O Muhammad): “O Allah! Lord of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You please, You take away the kingdom from whom You please; You give honor whom You please, You humiliate whom You please; all the good is in Your authority. Surely, You have power over every thing
Verse 27 — Surah Al-Imran 3:27
You make the night into the day and You make the day into the night. You bring out the living from the dead and You bring out the dead from the living. You give sustenance to whom You please without limit.”
Verse 28 — Surah Al-Imran 3:28
Let not the believers take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Whoever does that, there will not (be help) from Allah in anything, except that you fear of them for protection. And Allah warns you of His punishment and to Allah is the final return
Verse 29 — Surah Al-Imran 3:29
Say (O Muhammad): “Whether you conceal what is in your hearts or you reveal it, Allah knows it. He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. Allah has power over every thing.”
Verse 30 — Surah Al-Imran 3:30
On the Day when every one will be confronted with what they have done of good and what they have done of evil. (Wrongdoers) will wish if (there were) indeed a great distance between them and their evil deeds. Allah warns you of His punishment and Allah is very kind to (His) devotees
Verse 31 — Surah Al-Imran 3:31
Say (O Muhammad): “If you love Allah then follow me (the Qur’an and your way of life), Allah will love you and forgive your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”
Verse 32 — Surah Al-Imran 3:32
Say (O Muhammad): “Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad).” If they turn away, then indeed Allah does not like the disbelievers
Verse 33 — Surah Al-Imran 3:33
Surely Allah chose Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of Imran above mankind
Verse 34 — Surah Al-Imran 3:34
They were offspring of one another. Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower
Verse 35 — Surah Al-Imran 3:35
(Remember) when the wife of Imran said: “O my Lord! I have vowed to You what is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services. So accept this from me. Surely, You are All-Hearer, All-Knower.”
Verse 36 — Surah Al-Imran 3:36
When she delivered her (Mary), she said: “My Lord! I have delivered a female (instead of male).” Allah knew better what she delivered: “The male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her with You and her offspring from Satan, the rejected.”
Verse 37 — Surah Al-Imran 3:37
So her Lord accepted her with right acceptance. He made her grow in good manner and put her in the care of Zachariah. Whenever Zachariah entered to see her at her praying place, he found her with food. He said: “O Mary! From where you got this?” She said: “This is from Allah. Surely, Allah provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit.”
Verse 38 — Surah Al-Imran 3:38
Thereupon, Zachariah invoked his Lord, saying: “My Lord! Grant me a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation.”
Verse 39 — Surah Al-Imran 3:39
Then the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the prayer place saying that: “Allah gives you glad tidings of John, (he will) confirm the Word from Allah, noble, chaste, and a prophet from among the righteous.”
Verse 40 — Surah Al-Imran 3:40
He said: “My Lord! How can I have a son when old age has overtaken me and my wife is barren?” (Allah) said: “Allah does what He wills.”
Verse 41 — Surah Al-Imran 3:41
He said: “My Lord! Make for me a sign.” (Allah) said: “Your sign is that you will not speak to people for 3 days except by gesture. And remember your Lord much, and glorify Him in the evening and in the morning.”
Verse 42 — Surah Al-Imran 3:42
(Remember) when the angels said: “O Mary! Surely, Allah has chosen you and purified you, and chosen you above all the women of the world
Verse 43 — Surah Al-Imran 3:43
O Mary! Remain obedient to your Lord and prostrate, and bow down with those who bow down.”
Verse 44 — Surah Al-Imran 3:44
This is from the news of unseen which We inspire to you (O Muhammad). You were not with them when they (priests of the temple) threw their pens as to which of them should take care of Mary; nor you were not with them when they disputed
Verse 45 — Surah Al-Imran 3:45
(Remember) when the angels said: “O Mary! Surely, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a word (that you will have a son) from Him; his name will be Messiah Isa (Jesus Christ), the son of Mary. He will be honored in this world and the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah
Verse 46 — Surah Al-Imran 3:46
He will speak to the people in the cradle, in maturity, and he will be of the righteous.”
Verse 47 — Surah Al-Imran 3:47
She said: “My Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?” He said: “Even so, Allah creates whatever He wills. When He decided a thing, He just says to it: ‘Be!’ and it is
Verse 48 — Surah Al-Imran 3:48
And He (Allah) will teach him (Jesus) the book and the wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel
Verse 49 — Surah Al-Imran 3:49
and (will make Jesus) a Messenger to the children of Israel (saying) that: ‘I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I will make for you from clay like a figure of a bird, breathe into it, and it will become a bird by the permission of Allah. I will heal the born blind, leper, and will bring life to the dead by the permission of Allah. I will inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, in these are signs for you, if you believe
Verse 50 — Surah Al-Imran 3:50
And (I have come) to confirm that which was before me of the Torah, and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you. I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me
Verse 51 — Surah Al-Imran 3:51
Surely! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is the Right Way.’”
Verse 52 — Surah Al-Imran 3:52
Then when Jesus came to know of their disbelief, he said: “Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah?” The disciples said: “We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims.”
Verse 53 — Surah Al-Imran 3:53
(Then they said): “Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger (Jesus); so write us down with those who bear witness.”
Verse 54 — Surah Al-Imran 3:54
And they (disbelievers) plotted (to kill Jesus) and Allah also planned, and Allah is the Best of planners
Verse 55 — Surah Al-Imran 3:55
And (remember) when Allah said: “O Jesus! I will take you, will raise you to Me, will purify you (of the statement that Jesus is Allah’s son) of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in which you used to dispute
Verse 56 — Surah Al-Imran 3:56
As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with severe punishment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers
Verse 57 — Surah Al-Imran 3:57
And as for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) and do righteous deeds, Allah will grant them their reward in full. And Allah does not like the wrongdoers.”
Verse 58 — Surah Al-Imran 3:58
This is what We recite to you (O Muhammad) of the Verses and the wise reminder (the Qur’an)
Verse 59 — Surah Al-Imran 3:59
Surely, the example of Jesus (born without father) to Allah is like the example of Adam (born without father and mother). He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" and he was
Verse 60 — Surah Al-Imran 3:60
(This is) the truth from your Lord, so don’t be of those who doubt
Verse 61 — Surah Al-Imran 3:61
Then whoever disputes with you in it (concerning birth of Jesus) after what has come to you of knowledge, say (O Muhammad): “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: then we pray humbly and we invoke the Curse of Allah upon the liars.”
Verse 62 — Surah Al-Imran 3:62
Surely! This is the true story (about Jesus), and there is no one worthy of worship but Allah. And indeed, Allah is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
Verse 63 — Surah Al-Imran 3:63
If they turn away (don’t accept these proofs), then surely, Allah is All-Aware of those who do mischief
Verse 64 — Surah Al-Imran 3:64
Say (O Muhammad): “O people of the Scripture! Come to a word common between us and you: that we worship none but Allah, and that we don’t associate anything with Him, and that we shall not take others as Lord besides Allah.” Then if they turn away, then tell them: “Bear witness that we are Muslims.”
Verse 65 — Surah Al-Imran 3:65
O people of the Scripture! Why do you dispute about Abraham (whether he was a Jew or Christian?), while the Torah and the Gospel were sent down long after him? Don’t you understand
Verse 66 — Surah Al-Imran 3:66
You are those who have disputed about which you have knowledge. Why then you dispute about which you don’t have any knowledge? Allah knows, and you don’t know
Verse 67 — Surah Al-Imran 3:67
Abraham was neither a Jew and nor a Christian, but was a true Muslim and he was not of the polytheists
Verse 68 — Surah Al-Imran 3:68
Surely, best people (to claim near relationship) with Abraham are those who followed him, this prophet (Muhammad), and those who have believed in him. And Allah is the Guardian of the believers
Verse 69 — Surah Al-Imran 3:69
A party of people of the Scripture wishes to lead you astray, but they shall not lead astray anyone but themselves, and they don’t realize it
Verse 70 — Surah Al-Imran 3:70
O people of the Scripture! Why do you reject the Verse of Allah while you bear witness (to the truth)
Verse 71 — Surah Al-Imran 3:71
O people of the Scripture! Why do you mix truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know
Verse 72 — Surah Al-Imran 3:72
A party of people of the Scripture says: “Believe in what is sent down on those who believe (Muslims) in early part of the day, and reject it at the end of the day, so that they (Muslims) may turn back (abandon truth)
Verse 73 — Surah Al-Imran 3:73
And you don’t believe anyone but the one who follows your religion.” Say (O Muhammad): “Surely! The true Guidance is the Guidance of Allah.” (These people of the book don’t believe) that someone (besides them) could be given revelation like what you have been given, or they will argue with you before your Lord. Say (O Muhammad): “Surely! All the Bounty is in the Hand of Allah; Allah gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is Generous, All-knower.”
Verse 74 — Surah Al-Imran 3:74
He selects Mercy for whom He wills and Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty
Verse 75 — Surah Al-Imran 3:75
Among the people of the Scripture (there are some) who, if you entrust them with a heap of wealth, will pay it back to you; and among them there are others who, if you entrust them with a single silver coin, will not pay it back to you unless you keep on demanding, because they say: “There is no blame on us (to betray and take the properties of) the unlettered people (who are not Jews or Christians).” But they tell a lie against Allah while they know it
Verse 76 — Surah Al-Imran 3:76
Yes, those who fulfill their promise and fear Allah much; surely Allah loves those who are pious
Verse 77 — Surah Al-Imran 3:77
Surely, those who sell the covenants of Allah and their oaths for a small price (gain); they shall have no share in the Hereafter. Neither Allah will speak to them, nor look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor He will purify them, and they shall have a painful punishment
Verse 78 — Surah Al-Imran 3:78
And surely, there is a party among them, they twist their tongues (distort) in reciting the book, so that you think it is from the book, but it is not from the book. They say: “It is from Allah,” but it is not from Allah. They speak lie against Allah while they know it
Verse 79 — Surah Al-Imran 3:79
It is not possible for a person whom Allah has given the Book, the Wisdom, and the Prophethood; then he will say to the people: “Worship me instead of Allah.” But (he would say): “Be people of Allah according to the Book you have been teaching and studying.”
Verse 80 — Surah Al-Imran 3:80
Nor he will command you to take the angels and the prophets as your deity. Would he command you to disbelieve after when you have become Muslims
Verse 81 — Surah Al-Imran 3:81
And (remember) when Allah took the Covenant of the prophets, saying: “Whatever I gave you of the Book and Wisdom, there will come to you a Messenger (Muhammad) confirming what is with you; you must then believe in him and you must help him.” Allah said: “Do you agree and do you take on My Covenant?” They said: “We agree.” He said: “Then bear witness; and I am with you among the witnesses.”
Verse 82 — Surah Al-Imran 3:82
Then whoever turns away after this, they will be the transgressors
Verse 83 — Surah Al-Imran 3:83
Do they seek other than the religion of Allah, while all submitted to Allah who are in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly? To Allah they will be returned
Verse 84 — Surah Al-Imran 3:84
Say (O Muhammad): “We believe in Allah, what has been sent down to us, what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendents, and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We don’t make distinction between any one of them and to Him we submit (in Islam).”
Verse 85 — Surah Al-Imran 3:85
And whoever is seeking a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and will be among the losers in the Hereafter
Verse 86 — Surah Al-Imran 3:86
How shall Allah guide those people who disbelieved after their belief, bore witness that the Messenger (Muhammad) is true, and after clear proofs had come to them? Allah does not guide the wrongdoers
Verse 87 — Surah Al-Imran 3:87
They are those whose recompense is that on them is the curse of Allah, of the angels, and of all mankind
Verse 88 — Surah Al-Imran 3:88
They will abide forever in it (hell). Neither the punishment for them will be lightened, nor will they be reprieved
Verse 89 — Surah Al-Imran 3:89
except those who repent after that and mend their ways (do righteous deeds). Surely, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful
Verse 90 — Surah Al-Imran 3:90
Surely, those who disbelieve after their belief, then grow in disbelief, their repentance will never be accepted. They are those who are astray
Verse 91 — Surah Al-Imran 3:91
Surely, those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers, will not be accepted from any one of them even if they offer earth of gold as ransom. For them (will be) a painful punishment and will have no helpers
Verse 92 — Surah Al-Imran 3:92
You never attain piety unless you spend (in Allah’s Cause) of what you love; and whatever good you spend, surely, Allah knows it well
Verse 93 — Surah Al-Imran 3:93
All food (lawful in Islam) was also lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel (Yaqoob) made unlawful for himself before the Torah was revealed (to Moses). Say (O Muhammad): “Bring the Torah and recite it, if you are truthful.”
Verse 94 — Surah Al-Imran 3:94
Then after that, whoever invents a lie against Allah, indeed they are wrongdoers
Verse 95 — Surah Al-Imran 3:95
Say (O Muhammad): “Allah has spoken the truth; so follow the Creed of Abraham upright, and he was not of the polytheists.”
Verse 96 — Surah Al-Imran 3:96
Surely, the first House (of worship) was set up for mankind which is at Bakkah (Makkah), full of blessing, and guidance for all the worlds
Verse 97 — Surah Al-Imran 3:97
In it are clear signs like station of Abraham (where he used to pray). Whoever enters it becomes secure. And performance of Hajj (pilgrimage to the House of Ka’bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses; and whoever denies (the Hajj), then surely Allah is not in need of the worlds
Verse 98 — Surah Al-Imran 3:98
Say: “O people of the Scripture! Why do you reject the Verses of Allah when Allah is Witness to what you do?”
Verse 99 — Surah Al-Imran 3:99
Say: “O people of the Scripture! Why do you stop those who have believed from the way of Allah, seek to make (the way) crooked, when you are witnesses? Allah is not unaware of what you do.”
Verse 100 — Surah Al-Imran 3:100
O you who believe! If you obey a group of those who were given the Scripture, they would make you disbelievers after your belief
Verse 101 — Surah Al-Imran 3:101
And how would you disbelieve, when the Verses of Allah are recited to you, and among you is Allah’s Messenger (Muhammad)? Whoever holds fast to Allah, will indeed be guided to a Right Way
Verse 102 — Surah Al-Imran 3:102
O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and don’t die except when you are Muslims
Verse 103 — Surah Al-Imran 3:103
And hold fast the Rope of Allah (Islam) all together, and not be divided. Remember the Favor of Allah on you when you were enemies, He made friendship between your hearts, you became brothers by His Grace, you were on the brink of pit of the fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes clear to you His Verses, so that you may be guided
Verse 104 — Surah Al-Imran 3:104
There must be a group of people among you who invite to the good, command the right, and forbid evil. It is they who shall be successful
Verse 105 — Surah Al-Imran 3:105
You don’t be like those who are divided and disputed after the clear signs have come to them. For them is a terrible punishment
Verse 106 — Surah Al-Imran 3:106
On the Day (of Resurrection) some faces will be brightened and some faces will be blackened. As for those with blackened faces (it will be said): “Did you disbelieve after your faith? Then taste the punishment (in hell) for your disbelief.”
Verse 107 — Surah Al-Imran 3:107
As for those with brightened faces, they will be in the Mercy of Allah (Paradise); they will abide in it forever
Verse 108 — Surah Al-Imran 3:108
These are the Verses of Allah, We recite them to you (O Muhammad) in truth, and Allah does not desire injustice to the worlds
Verse 109 — Surah Al-Imran 3:109
And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all the matters go back (for decision) to Allah
Verse 110 — Surah Al-Imran 3:110
You are the best people raised for mankind. You command the good, forbid the evil, and you believe in Allah. And had people of the Scripture believed, it would have been better for them; some of them are believers, but most of them are transgressors
Verse 111 — Surah Al-Imran 3:111
They can never harm you except a little (annoyance); if they fight you, they will turn to you the backs, and they will not be helped
Verse 112 — Surah Al-Imran 3:112
Disgrace will be stamped upon them wherever they are found, except with a covenant (protection) from Allah, a covenant from people; and they have incurred wrath from Allah. The humiliation is stamped upon them because they used to reject the Verses of Allah and kill the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and used to transgress
Verse 113 — Surah Al-Imran 3:113
Not all of them are alike: a group of people of the Scripture stand upright, they recite the Verses of Allah during Hours of the night, and they prostrate (in prayers)
Verse 114 — Surah Al-Imran 3:114
They believe in Allah and the Last Day, they command the good and forbid evil, and they hasten to do good deeds, and they are among the righteous
Verse 115 — Surah Al-Imran 3:115
And whatever good they do, they will never be denied (its rewards) of good; and Allah knows the pious well
Verse 116 — Surah Al-Imran 3:116
Surely, those who disbelieved, neither their wealth will avail them nor their offspring from (the Wrath of) Allah anything. They are companions of the fire; they will abide in it forever
Verse 117 — Surah Al-Imran 3:117
The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like the example of a wind with severe cold; it strikes harvest of people who have wronged themselves and destroy it. Allah has not wronged them, but they have wronged themselves
Verse 118 — Surah Al-Imran 3:118
O you who believe! Don’t take as friends except from you (your religion); they (disbelievers) don’t spare any effort to make you corrupt. They desire whatever distresses you most. Indeed their hatred is apparent from their (sayings), and what their hearts conceal is far worse. Surely, We have made plain to you the Verses if you understand
Verse 119 — Surah Al-Imran 3:119
You are those who love them but they don’t love you, and you believe in all the Scripture (Torah, Gospel, while they disbelieve in Qur’an). And when they meet you, they say: “We believe.” But when they are alone, they bite (tips of their) fingers at you in rage. Say (to them): “Perish in your rage.” Certainly, Allah knows all what are in their hearts
Verse 120 — Surah Al-Imran 3:120
If a good befalls you, it grieves them; and if a misfortune overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if you remain steadfast and become pious, their design would not harm you. Surely, Allah encompasses all that they do
Verse 121 — Surah Al-Imran 3:121
And (remember) when you (Muhammad) left your household early morning to post the believers at their stations for the battle (of Uhud); Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower
Verse 122 — Surah Al-Imran 3:122
When 2 groups of you were about to lose heart, Allah was their protector (by strengthening hearts). In Allah the believers put their trust
Verse 123 — Surah Al-Imran 3:123
Certainly Allah helped you at Badr when you were completely weak. So fear Allah much so that you may be grateful
Verse 124 — Surah Al-Imran 3:124
(Remember) when you (Muhammad) said to the believers: “Is it not enough for you that your Lord helps you by sending down 3,000 angels?”
Verse 125 — Surah Al-Imran 3:125
Yes, if you are steadfast and fear Allah, when they (enemy) come to you rushing; your Lord will help you with 5,000 of marked angels
Verse 126 — Surah Al-Imran 3:126
Allah has not but made glad tidings for you and assures your hearts with it. There is no help except from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
Verse 127 — Surah Al-Imran 3:127
(Allah might) cut off a group of those who disbelieve, or subdue them, so that they (withdraw) frustrated
Verse 128 — Surah Al-Imran 3:128
The decision is not for you (Muhammad) whether He turns in Mercy to them or punishes them; surely, they are wrongdoers
Verse 129 — Surah Al-Imran 3:129
