Verse 1 — Surah An-Naziat 79:1
By those (angels) who violently pull out (the souls of the disbelievers)
Verse 2 — Surah An-Naziat 79:2
by those (angels) who gently draw out (the souls of the believers)
Verse 3 — Surah An-Naziat 79:3
by those (angels) who swim swiftly (through space)
Verse 4 — Surah An-Naziat 79:4
by those (angels) who press forward in a race (to fulfill Allah’s orders)
Verse 5 — Surah An-Naziat 79:5
by those (angels) who arrange to execute the commands (of their Lord)
Verse 6 — Surah An-Naziat 79:6
On the Day when the first blowing of the trumpet will shake (the earth, the mountains, and everybody will die)
Verse 7 — Surah An-Naziat 79:7
the second blowing of the trumpet will follow it (everybody will raise up)
Verse 8 — Surah An-Naziat 79:8
On that Day, hearts will beat (with fear and anxiety)
Verse 9 — Surah An-Naziat 79:9
their eyes will be downcast
Verse 10 — Surah An-Naziat 79:10
They (disbelievers) say: “Shall we really be returned to the former state of life
Verse 11 — Surah An-Naziat 79:11
when we will become crumbled bones?”
Verse 12 — Surah An-Naziat 79:12
They say: “In that case, it would be a return with loss!”
Verse 13 — Surah An-Naziat 79:13
But it will be only a single shout (the second blowing of the trumpet)
Verse 14 — Surah An-Naziat 79:14
when they will be awakened (alive after death)
Verse 15 — Surah An-Naziat 79:15
Have you heard the story of Moses
Verse 16 — Surah An-Naziat 79:16
When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa
Verse 17 — Surah An-Naziat 79:17
and said: “Go to Pharaoh, surely he has transgressed all bounds
Verse 18 — Surah An-Naziat 79:18
and say to him: ‘Do you have the desire to purify yourself (from sins)
Verse 19 — Surah An-Naziat 79:19
I will guide you to your Lord, so that you may fear (Him).’”
Verse 20 — Surah An-Naziat 79:20
Then he (Moses) showed him (Pharaoh) the great sign (miracles)
Verse 21 — Surah An-Naziat 79:21
but he (Pharaoh) denied and disobeyed
Verse 22 — Surah An-Naziat 79:22
Then he turned his back and strive (against Allah)
Verse 23 — Surah An-Naziat 79:23
gathered his people and cried aloud
Verse 24 — Surah An-Naziat 79:24
saying: “I am your Lord, most high.”
Verse 25 — Surah An-Naziat 79:25
So Allah seized him with punishment for the Hereafter and this life
Verse 26 — Surah An-Naziat 79:26
Surely, in this, there is an admonition for those who fear (Allah)
Verse 27 — Surah An-Naziat 79:27
Are you (O mankind) more difficult to create or the heaven that He constructed
Verse 28 — Surah An-Naziat 79:28
He raised its canopy and perfected it
Verse 29 — Surah An-Naziat 79:29
He covers its night with darkness and brings out light in its forenoon
Verse 30 — Surah An-Naziat 79:30
And after that, He spreads out the earth
Verse 31 — Surah An-Naziat 79:31
and brings out its water and its pasture from there
Verse 32 — Surah An-Naziat 79:32
fixed the mountains firmly
Verse 33 — Surah An-Naziat 79:33
made a provision and benefit for you and for your cattle
Verse 34 — Surah An-Naziat 79:34
But when the greatest catastrophe (the Day of recompense) will strike
Verse 35 — Surah An-Naziat 79:35
the Day when people will remember what they had striven for
Verse 36 — Surah An-Naziat 79:36
When hellfire shall be made apparent in full view for those who see
Verse 37 — Surah An-Naziat 79:37
then, those who transgressed all bounds (evil deeds)
Verse 38 — Surah An-Naziat 79:38
and preferred the worldly life
Verse 39 — Surah An-Naziat 79:39
surely, will have their abode in hell
Verse 40 — Surah An-Naziat 79:40
But those who feared standing before their Lord and restrained themselves from evil desires
Verse 41 — Surah An-Naziat 79:41
then surely, will have their homes in Paradise
Verse 42 — Surah An-Naziat 79:42
They ask you (O Muhammad) about the Hour: “When will be its appointed time?”
Verse 43 — Surah An-Naziat 79:43
But you have no knowledge to say anything about it
Verse 44 — Surah An-Naziat 79:44
Only your Lord (has knowledge of) the term of it
Verse 45 — Surah An-Naziat 79:45
You (O Muhammad) are only a Warner for those who fear it
Verse 46 — Surah An-Naziat 79:46
On that Day, when they will see it, it will be as if they had not stayed (in this world) only an afternoon or one morning
