Verse 1 — Surah Fatir 35:1
Praise be to Allah, the Bringer into Being of the heavens and earth, He who made the angels messengers, with wings — two, three or four. He adds to creation in any way He wills. Allah has power over all things
Verse 2 — Surah Fatir 35:2
Any mercy Allah opens up to people, no one can withhold, and any He withholds, no one can afterwards release. He is the Almighty, the All-Wise
Verse 3 — Surah Fatir 35:3
Mankind! remember Allah´s blessing to you. Is there any creator other than Allah providing for you from heaven and earth? There is no god but Him. So how have you been perverted
Verse 4 — Surah Fatir 35:4
If they deny you, Messengers before you were also denied. All matters return to Allah
Verse 5 — Surah Fatir 35:5
Mankind! Allah´s promise is true. Do not let the life of the dunya delude you and do not let the Deluder delude you about Allah
Verse 6 — Surah Fatir 35:6
Shaytan is your enemy so treat him as an enemy. He summons his party so they will be among the people of the Searing Blaze
Verse 7 — Surah Fatir 35:7
Those who are kafir will suffer a harsh punishment. But those who have iman and do right actions will receive forgiveness and an immense reward
Verse 8 — Surah Fatir 35:8
And what of him the evil of whose actions appears fine to him so that he sees them as good? Allah misguides whoever He wills and guides whoever He wills. So do not let yourself waste away out of regret for them. Allah knows what they do
Verse 9 — Surah Fatir 35:9
It is Allah who sends the winds which raise the clouds which We then drive to a dead land and by them bring the earth to life after it was dead. That is how the Resurrection will be
Verse 10 — Surah Fatir 35:10
If anyone wants power, all power belongs to Allah. All good words rise to Him and virtuous deeds elevate them. But people who plot evil deeds will suffer a harsh punishment. The plotting of such people is profitless
Verse 11 — Surah Fatir 35:11
Allah created you from dust and then from a drop of sperm and then made you into pairs. No female becomes pregnant or gives birth except with His knowledge. And no living thing lives long or has its life cut short without that being in a Book. That is easy for Allah
Verse 12 — Surah Fatir 35:12
The two seas are not the same: the one is sweet, refreshing, delicious to drink, the other salty, bitter to the taste. Yet from both of them you eat fresh flesh and extract ornaments for yourselves to wear; and you see ships on them, cleaving through the waves so that you can seek His bounty and so that hopefully you will be thankful
Verse 13 — Surah Fatir 35:13
He makes night merge into day and day merge into night, and He has made the sun and moon subservient, each one running until a specified time. That is Allah, your Lord. The Kingdom is His. Those you call on besides Him have no power over even the smallest speck
Verse 14 — Surah Fatir 35:14
If you call on them they will not hear your call, and were they to hear, they would not respond to you. On the Day of Rising they will reject your making associates of them. No one can inform you like One who is All-aware
Verse 15 — Surah Fatir 35:15
Mankind! you are the poor in need of Allah whereas Allah is the Rich Beyond Need, the Praiseworthy
Verse 16 — Surah Fatir 35:16
If He wills He can dispense with you and bring about a new creation
Verse 17 — Surah Fatir 35:17
That is not difficult for Allah
Verse 18 — Surah Fatir 35:18
No burden-bearer can bear another´s burden. If someone weighed down calls for help to bear his load, none of it will be borne for him, even by his next of kin. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the Unseen and establish salat. Whoever is purified, is purified for himself alone. Allah is your final destination
Verse 19 — Surah Fatir 35:19
The blind and seeing are not the same
Verse 20 — Surah Fatir 35:20
nor are darkness and light
Verse 21 — Surah Fatir 35:21
nor are cool shade and fierce heat
Verse 22 — Surah Fatir 35:22
The living and dead are not the same. Allah makes anyone He wills hear but you cannot make those in the grave hear
Verse 23 — Surah Fatir 35:23
You are only a warner
Verse 24 — Surah Fatir 35:24
We have sent you with the truth bringing good news and giving warning. There is no community to which a warner has not come
Verse 25 — Surah Fatir 35:25
If they deny you, those before them also denied the truth. Their Messengers came to them with Clear Signs, and psalms and the Illuminating Book
Verse 26 — Surah Fatir 35:26
Then I seized hold of those who were kafir and how absolute was My rejection
Verse 27 — Surah Fatir 35:27
Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the sky and by it We bring forth fruits of varying colours? And in the mountains there are streaks of white and red, of varying shades, and rocks of deep jet black
Verse 28 — Surah Fatir 35:28
And mankind and beasts and livestock are likewise of varying colours. Only those of His slaves with knowledge have fear of Allah. Allah is Almighty, Ever-Forgiving
Verse 29 — Surah Fatir 35:29
Those who recite the Book of Allah and establish salat and give of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, hope for a transaction which will not prove profitless
Verse 30 — Surah Fatir 35:30
that He will pay them their wages in full and give them more from His unbounded favour. He is Ever-Forgiving, Ever-Thankful
Verse 31 — Surah Fatir 35:31
What We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth, confirming what came before it. Allah is aware of and sees His slaves
Verse 32 — Surah Fatir 35:32
Then We made Our chosen slaves inherit the Book. But some of them wrong themselves; some are ambivalent; and some outdo each other in good by Allah´s permission. That is the great favour
Verse 33 — Surah Fatir 35:33
They will enter Gardens of Eden where they will be adorned with gold bracelets and pearls, and where their clothing will be of silk
Verse 34 — Surah Fatir 35:34
They will say, ´Praise be to Allah who has removed all sadness from us. Truly our Lord is Ever-Forgiving, Ever-Thankful
Verse 35 — Surah Fatir 35:35
He who has lodged us, out of His favour, in the Abode of Permanence where no weariness or fatigue affects us.´
Verse 36 — Surah Fatir 35:36
Whereas for those who are kafir there will be the Fire of Hell. They will not be killed off so that they die and its punishment will not be lightened for them. That is how We repay every thankless man
Verse 37 — Surah Fatir 35:37
They will shout out in it, ´Our Lord! take us out! We will act rightly, differently from the way we used to act!´ Did We not let you live long enough for anyone who was going to pay heed to pay heed? And did not the warner come to you? Taste it then! There is no helper for the wrongdoers
Verse 38 — Surah Fatir 35:38
Allah knows the Unseen of the heavens and earth. Allah knows what the heart contains
Verse 39 — Surah Fatir 35:39
It is He who made you khalifs on the earth. So whoever is kafir, his kufr is against himself. In Allah´s sight, the kufr of the kafirun only increases their loathsomeness; the kufr of the kafirun only increases their loss
Verse 40 — Surah Fatir 35:40
Say: ´Have you thought about your partner gods, those you call upon besides Allah? Show me what they have created of the earth; or do they have a partnership in the heavens?´ Have We given them a Book whose Clear Signs they follow? No indeed! The wrongdoers promise each other nothing but delusion
Verse 41 — Surah Fatir 35:41
Allah keeps a firm hold on the heavens and earth, preventing them from vanishing away. And if they vanished no one could then keep hold of them. Certainly He is Most Forbearing, Ever-Forgiving
Verse 42 — Surah Fatir 35:42
They swore by Allah with their most earnest oaths that if a warner came to them they would be better guided than any other community. But then when a warner did come to them, it only increased their aversion
Verse 43 — Surah Fatir 35:43
shown by their arrogance in the land and evil plotting. But evil plotting envelops only those who do it. Do they expect anything but the pattern of previous peoples? You will not find any changing in the pattern of Allah. You will not find any alteration in the pattern of Allah
Verse 44 — Surah Fatir 35:44
Have they not travelled in the land and seen the final fate of those before them? They were far greater than them in strength. Allah cannot be withstood in any way, either in the heavens or on earth. He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful
Verse 45 — Surah Fatir 35:45
If Allah were to take mankind to task for what they have earned, He would not leave a single creature crawling on it, but He is deferring them until a specified time. Then, when their time comes, Allah sees His slaves
