Verse 1 — Surah Al-Layl 92:1
By the night when it conceals
Verse 2 — Surah Al-Layl 92:2
and the day when it reveals
Verse 3 — Surah Al-Layl 92:3
and the creation of male and female
Verse 4 — Surah Al-Layl 92:4
there is a vast difference in your striving
Verse 5 — Surah Al-Layl 92:5
As for him who gives out and has taqwa
Verse 6 — Surah Al-Layl 92:6
and confirms the Good
Verse 7 — Surah Al-Layl 92:7
We will pave his way to Ease
Verse 8 — Surah Al-Layl 92:8
But as for him who is stingy and self-satisfied
Verse 9 — Surah Al-Layl 92:9
and denies the Good
Verse 10 — Surah Al-Layl 92:10
We will pave his way to Difficulty
Verse 11 — Surah Al-Layl 92:11
His wealth will not help him when he plummets to the depths
Verse 12 — Surah Al-Layl 92:12
Assuredly guidance is up to Us
Verse 13 — Surah Al-Layl 92:13
and both the Last and First belong to Us
Verse 14 — Surah Al-Layl 92:14
I have warned you of a Fire which rages
Verse 15 — Surah Al-Layl 92:15
in which only the most wretched will roast —
Verse 16 — Surah Al-Layl 92:16
those who denied and turned away
Verse 17 — Surah Al-Layl 92:17
Those with most taqwa will be far removed from it
Verse 18 — Surah Al-Layl 92:18
those who give their wealth to purify themselves —
Verse 19 — Surah Al-Layl 92:19
not to repay someone else for a favour done —
Verse 20 — Surah Al-Layl 92:20
desiring only the Face of their Lord Most High
Verse 21 — Surah Al-Layl 92:21
They will certainly be satisfied
