And the ‘Ad, they were caused to perish by a furious wind, extremely violent

He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession. So that you could see the people lying prostrate in its path, as if they had been roots of hollow palm trees tumbled down

Do you see then any of them left surviving

And they did not follow the messenger of their Lord, so He punished them with a sufficient penalty
Verse 11 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:11
We, when the water overflowed beyond its limits, carried you in the Ark
Verse 12 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:12
That We might make it a message for you, and that ears which hear the tale retain it to memory, and bear its lessons in mind
Verse 13 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:13
Then when a single trumpet is blown
Verse 14 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:14
And the earth and its mountains are moved, and they are crushed to powder with a single pound
Verse 15 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:15
On that day will the Event come to pass
Verse 16 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:16
And the universe will be rent asunder, for it will be flimsy that day
Verse 17 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:17
And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will that day, bear the throne of your Lord above them

Then he, who will be given his record in his right hand will say, “Ah here, read my record
Verse 20 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:20
“I indeed understood that my account would reach me.”
Verse 21 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:21
And he will be in a life of bliss
Verse 22 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:22
In a garden on high
Verse 23 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:23
Fruits hanging low and near
Verse 24 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:24
“Eat and drink with full satisfaction, because of that which you sent before you, in days gone by.”
Verse 25 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:25
And he who will be given his record in his left hand will say, “I wish that my record had not been given to me
Verse 26 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:26
“And that I had never realized how my account stood
Verse 27 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:27

“Of no profit to me is my wealth
Verse 29 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:29
“My power has vanished from me.”
Verse 30 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:30
Then it will be said, “Seize him and bind him
Verse 31 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:31
“And burn him in the blazing fire
Verse 32 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:32
“Further, make him march in a chain-gang, with a length of seventy cubits
Verse 33 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:33
“This was he who would not believe in God, Most High
Verse 34 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:34
“And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent
Verse 35 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:35
“So no friend has he here this day
Verse 36 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:36
“Nor has he any food, except of what remains from the washing of wounds
Verse 37 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:37
“Which none eat but the wrong-doers.”
Verse 38 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:38
So I call to witness what you see
Verse 39 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:39
And what you see not
Verse 40 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:40
That this is indeed the word of an honored messenger
Verse 41 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:41
It is not the word of a poet. Little is it you believe
Verse 42 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:42
Nor is it the word of an oracle. Little advice is it you receive
Verse 43 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:43
A message sent down from the Lord of all worlds
Verse 44 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:44
And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name
Verse 45 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:45
We would certainly seize him by his right hand
Verse 46 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:46
Then We would certainly cut off the artery of his heart
Verse 47 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:47
Nor could any of you protect him
Verse 48 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:48
But indeed this is a message for those who are conscious
Verse 49 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:49
And We certainly know that there are among you those who reject it
Verse 50 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:50
But truly it is a cause of sorrow for the unbelievers
Verse 51 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:51
But indeed it is certainly true
Verse 52 — Surah Al-Haqqah 69:52
So glorify the name of your Lord, Most High
