Verse 1 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:1
The Compassionate (Allah)
Verse 2 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:2
Who taught the Qur’an
Verse 3 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:3
created man
Verse 4 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:4
and taught him how to convey his feelings and thoughts
Verse 5 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:5
The sun and the moon move along their computed courses
Verse 6 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:6
The shrubs and the trees prostrate in adoration
Verse 7 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:7
He has raised the heaven on high and created the balance
Verse 8 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:8
don’t ever tamper with this balance
Verse 9 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:9
Therefore, you also establish weight with justice and do not give less measure
Verse 10 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:10
He laid out the earth for His creatures
Verse 11 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:11
with all its fruits and palms having sheathed clusters
Verse 12 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:12
and grain with husk and scented herbs
Verse 13 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:13
So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 14 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:14
He created man from sounding clay similar to pottery
Verse 15 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:15
and created jinns from smokeless fire
Verse 16 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:16
So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 17 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:17
He is Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests
Verse 18 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:18
So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 19 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:19
He has made the two oceans apparently meeting together
Verse 20 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:20
yet between them is a barrier which they cannot cross
Verse 21 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:21
So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 22 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:22
He produces pearls and coral from both of them
Verse 23 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:23
So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 24 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:24
His are the ships looming up like mountains on the sea
Verse 25 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:25
So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 26 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:26
All that exists on the earth will perish
Verse 27 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:27
but the Face of your Lord will remain full of Majesty and Glory
Verse 28 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:28
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s glories will both of you deny
Verse 29 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:29
All who dwell in the heavens and the earth, implore Him for their needs, every moment He is busy in some mighty task
Verse 30 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:30
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s honors will both of you deny
Verse 31 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:31
O you, the two burdens (jinns and mankind)! Soon We shall find the time to call you to account
Verse 32 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:32
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 33 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:33
O you, the assembly of jinns and men! If you have the power to get away from the boundaries of the heavens and the earth (to escape from His punishment), then get away! You cannot get away except with Our Own authority
Verse 34 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:34
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s authorities will both of you deny
Verse 35 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:35
The flames of fire and molten brass will be unleashed on you both, jinn and men, and you will not be able to defend yourselves
Verse 36 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:36
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 37 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:37
When the heaven will burst and will become red like red hide
Verse 38 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:38
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 39 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:39
On that Day neither man nor jinn will need be asked about his sins
Verse 40 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:40
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 41 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:41
Because the sinners will be recognized by their faces and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet
Verse 42 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:42
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 43 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:43
It will be said to them: "This is the hell which the culprits denied
Verse 44 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:44
They shall wander to and fro between fire and hot boiling water
Verse 45 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:45
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s warnings will both of you deny
Verse 46 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:46
For those who fear the time when they will have to stand before their Lord there are two gardens
Verse 47 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:47
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 48 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:48
Having shady trees with lush green branches
Verse 49 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:49
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 50 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:50
Each of them will be watered by two flowing springs
Verse 51 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:51
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 52 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:52
In both of them there will be two pairs of every fruit
Verse 53 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:53
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 54 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:54
They will recline on couches upholstered with rich brocade while the fruit of the gardens will be within their easy reach
Verse 55 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:55
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 56 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:56
Therein will be bashful virgins, whom neither any man nor jinn has touched before
Verse 57 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:57
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 58 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:58
So beautiful as though they were rubies and corals
Verse 59 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:59
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 60 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:60
Could the reward for goodness be anything but goodness
Verse 61 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:61
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 62 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:62
And besides these two there shall be two other gardens
Verse 63 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:63
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 64 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:64
Densely shaded with dark green trees
Verse 65 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:65
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 66 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:66
In both of them there will be two gushing springs
Verse 67 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:67
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 68 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:68
Each planted with fruit trees, dates and pomegranates
Verse 69 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:69
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 70 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:70
In each of them, there will be chaste and beautiful virgins
Verse 71 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:71
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 72 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:72
Huris (beautiful damsels) sheltered in their tents
Verse 73 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:73
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 74 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:74
Whom neither man nor Jinn has ever touched before
Verse 75 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:75
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 76 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:76
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets
Verse 77 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:77
Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
Verse 78 — Surah Ar-Rahman 55:78
