Verse 1 — Surah An-Naba 78:1
Of what do they question one another
Verse 2 — Surah An-Naba 78:2
About the Great News
Verse 3 — Surah An-Naba 78:3
About which they are in disagreement
Verse 4 — Surah An-Naba 78:4
Verily, they shall soon come to know
Verse 5 — Surah An-Naba 78:5
Verily, verily, they shall soon come to know
Verse 6 — Surah An-Naba 78:6
Have We not made the earth an expanse
Verse 7 — Surah An-Naba 78:7
And the mountains as projections (thereon)
Verse 8 — Surah An-Naba 78:8
And created you in pairs
Verse 9 — Surah An-Naba 78:9
And made your sleep for rest
Verse 10 — Surah An-Naba 78:10
And made the night to be a covering
Verse 11 — Surah An-Naba 78:11
And made the day for livelihood and activity
Verse 12 — Surah An-Naba 78:12
And made above you seven firmaments (heavens)
Verse 13 — Surah An-Naba 78:13
And placed therein a shining lamp (the Sun)
Verse 14 — Surah An-Naba 78:14
And do We not send down from the clouds water in abundance
Verse 15 — Surah An-Naba 78:15
That We may bring forth thereby corn and vegetable
Verse 16 — Surah An-Naba 78:16
And gardens dense and luxuriant
Verse 17 — Surah An-Naba 78:17
Surely the Day of Decision (or Sorting ) is a thing appointed
Verse 18 — Surah An-Naba 78:18
The day on which the trumpet shall be blown so you shall come forth in hosts
Verse 19 — Surah An-Naba 78:19
And the heaven shall be opened as if it were all doors
Verse 20 — Surah An-Naba 78:20
And the mountains shall be moved off so that they shall remain a mere semblance
Verse 21 — Surah An-Naba 78:21
Surely hell lies in ambush
Verse 22 — Surah An-Naba 78:22
A destination for those who transgress the bounds
Verse 23 — Surah An-Naba 78:23
Abiding therein for ages
Verse 24 — Surah An-Naba 78:24
They shall not taste therein anything cool nor drink
Verse 25 — Surah An-Naba 78:25
But boiling and intensely cold water
Verse 26 — Surah An-Naba 78:26
Requital corresponding (or proportional to their state)
Verse 27 — Surah An-Naba 78:27
Surely they feared not the account
Verse 28 — Surah An-Naba 78:28
And called Our revelations a lie with strong denial
Verse 29 — Surah An-Naba 78:29
And We have preserved all things in a Record
Verse 30 — Surah An-Naba 78:30
So taste you (the fruits of your deeds)! For We will not add to you aught but torment
Verse 31 — Surah An-Naba 78:31
Surely for the righteous is achievement (or success, self-fulfilment)
Verse 32 — Surah An-Naba 78:32
Gardens and vineyards
Verse 33 — Surah An-Naba 78:33
And those showing freshness of youth, equals in age
Verse 34 — Surah An-Naba 78:34
And a pure cup
Verse 35 — Surah An-Naba 78:35
They shall not hear therein any vain words nor lying
Verse 36 — Surah An-Naba 78:36
A reward from your Lord, a gift according to reckoning (or sufficient)
Verse 37 — Surah An-Naba 78:37
From the Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Beneficent Allah, with whom none can argue
Verse 38 — Surah An-Naba 78:38
The day on which the Spirit and the angels shall stand arrayed; they speak not except him whom the Beneficent permits and who speaks aright
Verse 39 — Surah An-Naba 78:39
That is the Day of Certain Reality, so whoever desires may take refuge with his Lord
Verse 40 — Surah An-Naba 78:40
Surely We have warned you of a doom near at hand: the day when man shall see that which his two hands have sent before, and the unbeliever shall say, "O! Would that I were dust
