And they will definitely carry their own burdens plus burdens with their burdens, and they will definitely be questioned on the day of resurrection about that which they used to forge

And We sent Noah to his people, so he stayed among them for a thousand years less fifty years, then the flood took hold of them while they were unjust

So We delivered him and his companions of the boat, and made it a sign for the worlds

And (We sent) Abraham when he said to his people, “Worship God and fear Him, that is the best for you if you know

Verse 17 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:17

You worship besides God, only idols, and you invent a lie; those whom you worship besides God, do not control any provision for you, so seek provision from God and worship Him and be grateful to Him, to Him you will be returned

Verse 18 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:18

And if you deny, then the communities before you had (also) denied, and nothing is incumbent on the messenger except clear conveyance (of the message).”

Verse 19 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:19

Did they not consider how God begins the creation than gets it reproduced? That is certainly easy for God

Verse 20 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:20

Say, “Travel in the earth and see how He began the creation, then God produces the later generations, God certainly has power over everything

He punishes whom He wills and has mercy on whom He wills, and to Him you will be turned back

Verse 22 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:22

And you cannot frustrate Him in the earth nor in the sky, and you have neither a guardian nor a helper besides God.”

And those who do not believe in the signs of God and (in their) meeting Him, those have lost hope of My mercy and those are the persons for whom there is a painful punishment

Verse 24 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:24

So the answer of his (Abraham’s) people was nothing except that they said, “Kill him or burn him.” But God saved him from the fire. There are certainly signs in that for a people who believe

Verse 25 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:25

And he said, “You have taken (for worship) only idols, besides God. Your mutual love is in the life of this world, then on the day of resurrection some of you will reject others and some of you will curse others, and your settling place will be the fire and you will not have any helpers.”

Verse 26 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:26

So Lot believed in him and said, “I am a migrant towards my Lord, He is certainly the Mighty, the Wise.”

Verse 27 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:27

And We granted to him (i.e. Abraham), Isaac and Jacob and made the prophet hood (to remain) in his descendants and (also) the book. And We gave him his reward in the world, and in the hereafter he will certainly be among the righteous

Verse 29 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:29

Verse 30 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:30

He said, “My Lord! help me against the corrupt people.”

Verse 31 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:31

Verse 32 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:32

Verse 33 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:33

So when the messengers came to Lot, he was grieved on account of them and distressed on account of them (because of his) incapability (to protect them), but they said, “ Do not fear, nor grieve, we will certainly save you and your followers except your wife, she will be of those who remain behind

Verse 34 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:34

We are going to bring down on the people of this town a penalty form the sky because they used to exceed the limits.”

Verse 35 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:35

And We indeed left a clear sign of it for a people who understand

Verse 36 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:36

Verse 37 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:37

But they denied him, so the earthquake took hold of them and the morning found them lying motionless in their houses

Verse 38 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:38

And the Aad and the Thamud, and (their punishment) is indeed clear to you from ( the remains of) their houses. And the devil had made their deeds fair seeming to them (and) thereby turned them away from the way, though they had insight

Verse 39 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:39

And Korah and Pharaoh and Haman; and Moses came to them with clear proofs, but they considered themselves great in the earth and (therefore) they could not escape (Our punishment)

Verse 40 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:40

So each one We caught on account of his sin. So among them was he on whom We sent a sand-storm (or a rain of hot volcanic debris), and among them was he whom the loud cry afflicted, and among them was he whom We caused to sink into the earth, and among them was he whom We drowned and it was not God Who was unjust to them but they used to be unjust to themselves

Verse 41 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:41

The likeness of those who have taken guardians besides God, is as the likeness of the spider which takes hold of a house and certainly the weakest of (all) the houses is the house, of the spider, if they (only) know

And do not dispute with the owners of the book except in (a way) which is better, save (with) those who are unjust among them, and say (to them), “We believe in that which has been sent down to us and sent down to you and our God and your God is One and to Him we submit (as Muslims).”

Verse 47 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:47

And thus We have sent down the book to you, so those to whom We gave the book (earlier), believe in it and of these (Meccans too) there are those who believe in it, and no one knowingly denies Our signs except the disbelievers

Verse 48 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:48

And earlier to this, you were not (able) to read from a book nor were you (able) to write it with your right hand. (Had you known reading and writing) then those involved in falsehood would have doubted

Verse 49 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:49

No, those are clear signs in the bosoms of those who are given knowledge, and no one knowingly denies Our signs except those who are unjust

Verse 50 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:50

And they say, “Why are signs not send down on him from his Lord?” Say, “Signs are only with God, and I am only a plain warner.”

Verse 51 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:51

It is not enough for them that We have sent down to you the book which is read to them? Certainly in that there is mercy, and (it is) a reminder for a people who believe

Verse 52 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:52

Say, “God is sufficient as a Witness between me and you. He knows whatever is there in the skies and the earth. And those who believe in falsehood and do not believe in God, those are the persons who are the losers.”

Verse 53 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:53

And they ask you to hasten on the punishment, and had it not been (fixed at the end of) an appointed term, the punishment would have come (to them), and it will definitely come to them suddenly while they do not perceive

Verse 54 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:54

They ask you to hasten on the punishment, and hell will certainly encompass the disbelievers

Verse 55 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:55

On that day the punishment will cover them from above them and from beneath their feet and He will say, “Taste that which you used to do.”

Verse 56 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:56

O my servants who believe! My earth is certainly vast, so serve Me alone

Verse 57 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:57

Every soul tastes death, then you will be returned to Us

Verse 58 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:58

And those who believe and do righteous works, they will definitely be settled by Us in high places in a garden beneath which rivers flow, they will stay therein, an excellent reward for those who work (for it)

Verse 59 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:59

those who are patient and put their trust in their Lord

Verse 60 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:60

And how many moving creatures are there which do not carry their provision, God provides for them and you (all too) and He is the Hearing, the Knowing

Verse 61 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:61

And if you ask them, “Who created the skies and the earth and subjected (to your service) the sun and the moon?” They will definitely say, “God.” How then are they turned away (form the truth)

Verse 62 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:62

God enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His servants and straitens it, for whomever (and whenever He wills), and God is certainly the Knower of everything

Verse 63 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:63

And if you ask them, “Who sends down the water from the sky then gives life through it to the earth after its death?” They will definitely say, “God.” Say, “Praise is due only for God, but the majority of them does not understand.”

Verse 64 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:64

And this life of the world is nothing but a pastime and play and the home of the hereafter, that certainly is life, if they but know

Verse 65 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:65

So when they embark on a ship they pray to God, making religion exclusively for Him, but when He brings them safe to the land then they associate partners (with Him)

Verse 66 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:66

so as to be ungrateful for that which We gave them and that they may enjoy, but they will come to know

Verse 67 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:67

Did they not see that We have made the sanctuary (Kaaba) secure, while human beings are snatched away from around them? Then do they believe in falsehood and are ungrateful for the grace of God

Verse 68 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:68

And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against God or denies the truth when it comes to him? Will not the home of the disbeliever be in hell

Verse 69 — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:69

And those who strive for Us, We will definitely guide them to Our ways, and God is certainly with the doers of good
