English - Chapter 81 - At-Takwir

When the sun is made to wind up

and when the mountains are moved away

and when camels with ten months' pregnancy are left off

and when wild animals are brought together

and when the oceans are flooded

and when the souls are paired (probably with their respective bodies)

and when the female child buried alive is asked

for what sin she was killed

and when the pages are spread

and when the sky has its covering removed

and when the hell is kindled

and when the garden is brought near

(every) soul (everyone) will know what (deeds) it has brought for presentation

So I do swear by those that withdraw

those that move swiftly, hiding

and the night when it comes (and goes)

and the morning when it breathes (and makes us conscious)

it is certainly the word of an honoured messenger (Gabriel)

possessor of power, established in the presence (of God) to Whom belongs the throne

one to be obeyed, and with it trustworthy

And your companion (Muhammad) is not possessed by jinn

And he (Muhammad) saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon

And he is not a miser concealing (information) of the unseen

And it is not the word of the cursed devil

So in' which direction are you all going

The (Quran) is nothing but a reminder to the worlds

for him among you who wills to be upright

And you do not will unless God, the Lord of the worlds, wills
