Verse 1 — Surah Al-Ala 87:1
(Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High
Verse 2 — Surah Al-Ala 87:2
Who has created (all things) proportionately
Verse 3 — Surah Al-Ala 87:3
decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance
Verse 4 — Surah Al-Ala 87:4
It is He who has caused the grass to grow
Verse 5 — Surah Al-Ala 87:5
then caused it to wither away
Verse 6 — Surah Al-Ala 87:6
We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it
Verse 7 — Surah Al-Ala 87:7
unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden
Verse 8 — Surah Al-Ala 87:8
We shall make all your tasks easy
Verse 9 — Surah Al-Ala 87:9
Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit
Verse 10 — Surah Al-Ala 87:10
Those who have fear of God will benefit
Verse 11 — Surah Al-Ala 87:11
but the reprobates will turn away
Verse 12 — Surah Al-Ala 87:12
and suffer the heat of the great fire
Verse 13 — Surah Al-Ala 87:13
wherein they will neither live nor die
Verse 14 — Surah Al-Ala 87:14
Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves
Verse 15 — Surah Al-Ala 87:15
remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him
Verse 16 — Surah Al-Ala 87:16
However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life
Verse 17 — Surah Al-Ala 87:17
even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever
Verse 18 — Surah Al-Ala 87:18
This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books
Verse 19 — Surah Al-Ala 87:19
