Verse 1 — Surah An-Naziat 79:1
By those who pull out [evil souls] harshly
Verse 2 — Surah An-Naziat 79:2
and by those who draw out [good souls] gently
Verse 3 — Surah An-Naziat 79:3
and by those who glide swiftly
Verse 4 — Surah An-Naziat 79:4
and those who overtake one another as in a race
Verse 5 — Surah An-Naziat 79:5
and those who carry out the command [of Allah]
Verse 6 — Surah An-Naziat 79:6
on the Day when the earth convulses [by the first Blast]
Verse 7 — Surah An-Naziat 79:7
followed by the second Blast
Verse 8 — Surah An-Naziat 79:8
hearts will be pounding on that Day
Verse 9 — Surah An-Naziat 79:9
and their eyes will be downcast
Verse 10 — Surah An-Naziat 79:10
They say, “Will we be brought back to life
Verse 11 — Surah An-Naziat 79:11
after we have turned into decayed bones?”
Verse 12 — Surah An-Naziat 79:12
They say, “Then that would surely be a losing return!”
Verse 13 — Surah An-Naziat 79:13
It will only be a single Blast
Verse 14 — Surah An-Naziat 79:14
then they will immediately be above the ground
Verse 15 — Surah An-Naziat 79:15
Has there come to you the story of Moses
Verse 16 — Surah An-Naziat 79:16
when his Lord called out to him at the sacred valley of Tuwa
Verse 17 — Surah An-Naziat 79:17
[Saying,] “Go to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds”
Verse 18 — Surah An-Naziat 79:18
And say: ‘Are you willing to be purified
Verse 19 — Surah An-Naziat 79:19
and I will guide you to your Lord so that you may fear Him?’”
Verse 20 — Surah An-Naziat 79:20
Then Moses showed him the greatest sign
Verse 21 — Surah An-Naziat 79:21
But Pharaoh denied it and disobeyed
Verse 22 — Surah An-Naziat 79:22
Then he turned back striving to plot
Verse 23 — Surah An-Naziat 79:23
He gathered [his people] and proclaimed
Verse 24 — Surah An-Naziat 79:24
saying, “I am your lord, the most high.”
Verse 25 — Surah An-Naziat 79:25
So Allah seized him for an exemplary punishment in this life and in the Hereafter
Verse 26 — Surah An-Naziat 79:26
Indeed, there is a lesson in this for those who fear Allah
Verse 27 — Surah An-Naziat 79:27
Are you more difficult to create or the heaven that He built
Verse 28 — Surah An-Naziat 79:28
He raised it high and proportioned it
Verse 29 — Surah An-Naziat 79:29
and darkened its night and brought forth its daylight
Verse 30 — Surah An-Naziat 79:30
And thereafter He spread out the earth
Verse 31 — Surah An-Naziat 79:31
brought forth from it its water and its pasture
Verse 32 — Surah An-Naziat 79:32
and set the mountains firmly
Verse 33 — Surah An-Naziat 79:33
as a provision for you and your grazing livestock
Verse 34 — Surah An-Naziat 79:34
But when the Supreme Calamity comes
Verse 35 — Surah An-Naziat 79:35
on that Day man will remember all what he did
Verse 36 — Surah An-Naziat 79:36
and the Blazing Fire will be exposed for all to see
Verse 37 — Surah An-Naziat 79:37
As for those who transgressed
Verse 38 — Surah An-Naziat 79:38
and preferred the life of this world
Verse 39 — Surah An-Naziat 79:39
the Blazing Fire will be their abode
Verse 40 — Surah An-Naziat 79:40
But those who feared standing before their Lord and restrained themselves from evil desires
Verse 41 — Surah An-Naziat 79:41
Paradise will surely be their abode
Verse 42 — Surah An-Naziat 79:42
They ask you concerning the Hour, “When will it be?”
Verse 43 — Surah An-Naziat 79:43
How could you possibly mention that
Verse 44 — Surah An-Naziat 79:44
Its knowledge rests only with your Lord
Verse 45 — Surah An-Naziat 79:45
You are only a warner for those who fear it
Verse 46 — Surah An-Naziat 79:46
On the Day when they see it, it will be as if they had remained [in this world] no more than an evening or a morning
