Verse 1 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:1
By the daybreak
Verse 2 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:2
and by ten nights
Verse 3 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:3
by the even and the odd
Verse 4 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:4
and by the night as it recedes
Verse 5 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:5
is there not in [all] that an oath for a rational person
Verse 6 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:6
Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with Aad
Verse 7 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:7
with Iram of the pillars
Verse 8 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:8
whose like was never created in any land
Verse 9 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:9
with Thamud, those who carved the rocks in the valley
Verse 10 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:10
And with Pharaoh, of the stakes
Verse 11 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:11
All of them committed excesses in the lands
Verse 12 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:12
and spread much corruption there
Verse 13 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:13
So your Lord poured on them a scourge of punishment
Verse 14 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:14
Your Lord is always watchful
Verse 15 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:15
As for human being, whenever his Lord tests him, by honoring him, and blessing him, he says, "My Lord has honored me
Verse 16 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:16
But when He tries him, and restricts his provision for him, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me
Verse 17 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:17
Not at all! It is you who are not generous with the orphans
Verse 18 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:18
and you do not urge one another to feed the needy
Verse 19 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:19
you who devour the inheritance [of others] with obvious greed
Verse 20 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:20
and you who passionately love wealth
Verse 21 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:21
No indeed! When the earth is crushed, pounded and crushed
Verse 22 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:22
and your Lord comes with the angels, row after row
Verse 23 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:23
on that Day, Hell will be brought near. On that Day, the human being will remember, but what good will that be to him then
Verse 24 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:24
He will say, "I wish I had provided for this life to come
Verse 25 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:25
On that Day, none will punish as He punishes
Verse 26 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:26
And none will shackle as severely as He shackles
Verse 27 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:27
[To the righteous it will be said], "Tranquil soul
Verse 28 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:28
Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him]
Verse 29 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:29
go in among My worshipers
Verse 30 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:30
and into My Garden
