I do swear by Resurrection Day
Verse 2 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:2
as I swear by the rebuking soul
Verse 3 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:3
does man reckon We shall never gather his bones together [again]
Verse 4 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:4
Of course We are Capable of reshaping even his fingertips
Verse 5 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:5
Yet man wants to carouse right out in the open
Verse 6 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:6
He asks: "When will Resurrection Day be
Verse 7 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:7
When one´s sight is dazzled
Verse 8 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:8
and the moon is eclipsed
Verse 9 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:9
as the sun and moon are brought together
Verse 10 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:10
on that day (every)man will say: Where is there any escape

recourse will be only with your Lord on that day

Man will be notified that day about anything he has sent on ahead or else held back
Verse 14 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:14
Indeed man holds evidence even against himself
Verse 15 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:15
although he may proffer his excuses
Verse 16 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:16
Do not try to hurry it up with your tongue
Verse 17 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:17
it is up to Us to collect it, as well as [to know how] to recite it
Verse 18 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:18
So whenever We do read it, follow in its reading

Verse 21 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:21
while you neglect the Hereafter
Verse 22 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:22
Some faces will be radiant on that day
Verse 23 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:23
looking toward their Lord
Verse 24 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:24
while other faces will be scowling on that day
Verse 25 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:25
thinking that some impoverishing blow will be dealt them
Verse 26 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:26
Indeed when it reaches as high as one´s collarbone
Verse 27 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:27
and someone says: "Who is such a wizard
Verse 28 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:28
he will suppose that it means leave-taking
Verse 29 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:29
while one shin will twist around the other shin [to keep it from moving]

but said: "No!" and turned away
Verse 33 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:33
Then he stalked off haughtily to his family
Verse 34 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:34
[though] closer to you and even closer
Verse 35 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:35
Then closer to you [lies your doom] and still closer
Verse 36 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:36
Does man reckon he´ll be left forlorn
Verse 37 — Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:37
