Verse 1 — Surah Al-Ala 87:1
Glorify the name of your Lord, the All-Highest
Verse 2 — Surah Al-Ala 87:2
Who has created and fashioned
Verse 3 — Surah Al-Ala 87:3
Who has proportioned and guided
Verse 4 — Surah Al-Ala 87:4
Who brings forth pasturage
Verse 5 — Surah Al-Ala 87:5
then turns it into weather-beaten stubble
Verse 6 — Surah Al-Ala 87:6
We shall make you recite, so do not forget [anything]
Verse 7 — Surah Al-Ala 87:7
except whatever God may wish; He knows the obvious and what is hidden
Verse 8 — Surah Al-Ala 87:8
We will make it easy for you to take the easy way
Verse 9 — Surah Al-Ala 87:9
so remind [men], if reminding will benefit [anyone]
Verse 10 — Surah Al-Ala 87:10
Anyone who feels afraid will be reminded
Verse 11 — Surah Al-Ala 87:11
while the unluckiest
Verse 12 — Surah Al-Ala 87:12
the one who will roast in the greatest Fire, shunts it aside
Verse 13 — Surah Al-Ala 87:13
then he will neither die in it, nor yet live there
Verse 14 — Surah Al-Ala 87:14
Anyone who purifies himself
Verse 15 — Surah Al-Ala 87:15
mentions his Lord´s name and prays, will prosper
Verse 16 — Surah Al-Ala 87:16
Instead you prefer worldly life
Verse 17 — Surah Al-Ala 87:17
whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring
Verse 18 — Surah Al-Ala 87:18
This has been [written] on the earliest scrolls
Verse 19 — Surah Al-Ala 87:19
the scriptures of Abraham and Moses
