Verse 1 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:1
By the dawn
Verse 2 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:2
And the ten nights
Verse 3 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:3
And the even and the odd
Verse 4 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:4
And the night when it passes
Verse 5 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:5
In this is an oath for the one with intelligence
Verse 6 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:6
Did you not see what your Lord did to 'Aad
Verse 7 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:7
Irum, with the great columns
Verse 8 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:8
The one which was like no other in the land
Verse 9 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:9
And Thamud who carved the rocks in the valley
Verse 10 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:10
And Pharaoh with the planks
Verse 11 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:11
They all transgressed in the land
Verse 12 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:12
And made much corruption therein
Verse 13 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:13
So your Lord poured upon them a measure of retribution
Verse 14 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:14
Your Lord is ever watchful
Verse 15 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:15
As for man, if his Lord tests him and grants him much, then he says: "My Lord has blessed me
Verse 16 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:16
And if his Lord tests him and gives him little wealth, then he says: "My Lord has humiliated me
Verse 17 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:17
No, you are not generous to the orphan
Verse 18 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:18
And you do not look to feeding the poor
Verse 19 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:19
And you consume others inheritance, all with greed
Verse 20 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:20
And you love money, a love that is excessive
Verse 21 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:21
No, when the Earth is pounded into rubble
Verse 22 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:22
And your Lord comes with the Angels row after row
Verse 23 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:23
And Hell on that Day is brought. On that Day man will remember, but how will the remembrance now help him
Verse 24 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:24
He says: "I wish I had worked towards my life
Verse 25 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:25
On that Day, no other will bear his punishment
Verse 26 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:26
Nor will anyone be able to free his bonds
Verse 27 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:27
O you soul which is peaceful
Verse 28 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:28
Return to your Lord happy and content
Verse 29 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:29
And enter in amongst My servants
Verse 30 — Surah Al-Fajr 89:30
And enter My Paradise
