Why do you not bring us the angels, if you are among the truthful?”

And [remember] when thy Lord said unto the angels, “Behold! I am creating a human being from dried clay, made of molded mud

so when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, fall down before him prostrating.”
Verse 30 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:30
Thereupon the angels prostrated, all of them together
Verse 31 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:31
save Iblis. He refused to be with those who prostrated
Verse 32 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:32
He said, “O Iblis! What ails you that you are not with those who prostrate?”

Verse 35 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:35
and surely the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment!”

Verse 38 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:38
till the Day of the Moment Known.”

save Thy sincere servants among them.”
Verse 41 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:41

Verse 42 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:42
As for My servants, truly thou hast no authority over them, save for those in error who follow thee
Verse 43 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:43
And verily Hell shall be their tryst, all together.”

Seven gates it has, and for each gate is appointed a separate portion of them
Verse 45 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:45
Truly the reverent shall be amidst gardens and springs
Verse 46 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:46
“Enter them in peace, secure”—
Verse 47 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:47
We shall remove whatever rancor lies within their breasts—“as brothers, upon couches, facing one another.”
Verse 48 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:48
No weariness shall befall them therein; nor shall they be expelled therefrom
Verse 49 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:49
Tell My servants that I am indeed the Forgiving, the Merciful
Verse 50 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:50
and that My Punishment is the painful punishment
Verse 51 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:51
And tell them of the guests of Abraham
Verse 52 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:52

Verse 53 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:53
They said, “Be not afraid. Truly we bring thee glad tidings of a knowing son.”

Verse 56 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:56
He said, “Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord, save those who are astray?”
Verse 57 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:57

Verse 58 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:58
messengers?”
Verse 59 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:59
They said, “We have been sent unto a guilty people
Verse 60 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:60
save for the family of Lot. We shall surely save them, all together
Verse 61 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:61
except for his wife; We have determined that she is indeed among those who lagged behind.” a So when the messengers came to the family of Lot
Verse 62 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:62
he said, “Verily you are an unfamiliar folk.”
Verse 63 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:63
They said, “Nay, but we bring thee that which they used to doubt
Verse 64 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:64
And we bring thee the truth, and surely we are truthful
Verse 65 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:65
So set out with thy family during the night, and follow behind them, and let not any of you turn around, but go forth wheresoever you are commanded.”
Verse 66 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:66
And We decreed this matter unto him: that the last remnant of those people will be rooted out in the morning
Verse 67 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:67
And the people of the city came, rejoicing
Verse 68 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:68
He said, “Truly these are my guests; so dishonor me not
Verse 69 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:69
Reverence God, and disgrace me not.”
Verse 70 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:70
They said, “Did we not forbid you from [providing protection] to all the people?”
Verse 71 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:71
He said, “These are my daughters, if you must act.”
Verse 72 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:72
By thy life, they wandered confused in their drunkenness
Verse 73 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:73
So the Cry seized them at sunrise
Verse 74 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:74
then We made its uppermost to be its lowermost, and We rained down upon them stones of baked clay
Verse 75 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:75
Truly in that are signs for those who discern
Verse 76 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:76
and verily they are on a path still standing
Verse 77 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:77
Truly in that is a sign for the believers
Verse 78 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:78
And verily the inhabitants of the thicket were wrongdoers
Verse 79 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:79
So We took vengeance upon them. Truly the two of them are on a clear road
Verse 80 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:80
And indeed the inhabitants of al-?ijr denied the messengers
Verse 81 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:81
And We gave them Our signs, but they used to turn away therefrom
Verse 82 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:82
And they would hew dwellings in the mountains, [feeling] secure
Verse 83 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:83
Yet the Cry seized them in the morning
Verse 84 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:84
and that which they used to earn availed them not
Verse 85 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:85
And We did not create the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is between them, save in truth. And surely the Hour is coming; so forbear with beautiful forbearance
Verse 86 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:86
Truly thy Lord is the knowing Creator
Verse 87 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:87
And We have indeed given thee the seven oft-repeated, and the Mighty Quran
Verse 88 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:88
Strain not thine eyes toward the enjoyments We have bestowed upon certain classes of them, and grieve not for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers
Verse 89 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:89
and say, “Truly I am the clear warner.”
Verse 90 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:90
Such as We have sent down for those who make division
Verse 91 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:91
who made the Quran into fragments
Verse 92 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:92
So by thy Lord, We shall question them all
Verse 93 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:93
concerning that which they used to do
Verse 94 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:94
So proclaim as thou hast been commanded, and turn away from the idolaters
Verse 95 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:95
Truly We shall suffice thee against those who mock
Verse 96 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:96
those who set up another god along with God; yet soon they will know
Verse 97 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:97
And certainly We know that thy breast is straitened because of what they say
Verse 98 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:98
So hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be among those who prostrate
Verse 99 — Surah Al-Hijr 15:99
And worship thy Lord, till certainty comes unto thee
