Verse 1 — Surah An-Naba 78:1
About what do they question one another
Verse 2 — Surah An-Naba 78:2
About the Great Tiding
Verse 3 — Surah An-Naba 78:3
regarding which they differ
Verse 4 — Surah An-Naba 78:4
Nay, but they will know
Verse 5 — Surah An-Naba 78:5
Then indeed they will know
Verse 6 — Surah An-Naba 78:6
Did We not make the earth a resting place
Verse 7 — Surah An-Naba 78:7
and the mountains stakes
Verse 8 — Surah An-Naba 78:8
and create you in pairs
Verse 9 — Surah An-Naba 78:9
and make your sleep repose
Verse 10 — Surah An-Naba 78:10
and make the night a garment
Verse 11 — Surah An-Naba 78:11
and the day for livelihood
Verse 12 — Surah An-Naba 78:12
And [did We not] build above you seven firmaments
Verse 13 — Surah An-Naba 78:13
and make a radiant lamp
Verse 14 — Surah An-Naba 78:14
and send down water pouring from the rain clouds
Verse 15 — Surah An-Naba 78:15
that We might produce grain and plants thereby
Verse 16 — Surah An-Naba 78:16
and luxuriant gardens
Verse 17 — Surah An-Naba 78:17
Truly the Day of Division is a Moment Appointed
Verse 18 — Surah An-Naba 78:18
a day when the trumpet is blown and you come forth in throngs
Verse 19 — Surah An-Naba 78:19
and the sky is opened as if it were gates
Verse 20 — Surah An-Naba 78:20
and the mountains are set in motion as if they were a mirage
Verse 21 — Surah An-Naba 78:21
Truly Hell lies in ambush
Verse 22 — Surah An-Naba 78:22
a place unto which the rebellious return
Verse 23 — Surah An-Naba 78:23
to tarry therein for ages
Verse 24 — Surah An-Naba 78:24
They taste therein neither coolness nor drink
Verse 25 — Surah An-Naba 78:25
save boiling liquid and a cold, murky fluid
Verse 26 — Surah An-Naba 78:26
a fitting recompense
Verse 27 — Surah An-Naba 78:27
Truly they anticipated not a reckoning
Verse 28 — Surah An-Naba 78:28
and denied Our signs with utter denial
Verse 29 — Surah An-Naba 78:29
And everything have We recorded in a book
Verse 30 — Surah An-Naba 78:30
So taste! For We shall not increase you in aught but punishment
Verse 31 — Surah An-Naba 78:31
Truly the reverent shall have a place of triumph
Verse 32 — Surah An-Naba 78:32
gardens and vineyards
Verse 33 — Surah An-Naba 78:33
buxom maidens of like age
Verse 34 — Surah An-Naba 78:34
and an overflowing cup
Verse 35 — Surah An-Naba 78:35
They hear therein neither idle talk nor lying—
Verse 36 — Surah An-Naba 78:36
a recompense from thy Lord, a gift abounding—
Verse 37 — Surah An-Naba 78:37
the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and whatsoever is between them, the Compassionate, Whom they have no power to address
Verse 38 — Surah An-Naba 78:38
That Day the Spirit and the angels stand in rows, none speaking, save one whom the Compassionate permits and who speaks aright
Verse 39 — Surah An-Naba 78:39
That is the True Day. So let whosoever will, take a path of return unto his Lord
Verse 40 — Surah An-Naba 78:40
Truly We have warned you of a punishment nigh, on a day when a man beholds what his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever says, “Oh, would that I were dust!”
