Verse 1 — Surah Abasa 80:1
He frowned and turned away
Verse 2 — Surah Abasa 80:2
because the blind man came to him
Verse 3 — Surah Abasa 80:3
And what would apprise thee? Perhaps he would purify himself
Verse 4 — Surah Abasa 80:4
or be reminded, such that the reminder might benefit him
Verse 5 — Surah Abasa 80:5
As for him who deems himself beyond need
Verse 6 — Surah Abasa 80:6
to him dost thou attend
Verse 7 — Surah Abasa 80:7
though thou art not answerable, should he not be purified
Verse 8 — Surah Abasa 80:8
But as for him who came to thee striving earnestly
Verse 9 — Surah Abasa 80:9
while fearful
Verse 10 — Surah Abasa 80:10
from him thou art diverted
Verse 11 — Surah Abasa 80:11
Nay! Truly it is a reminder—
Verse 12 — Surah Abasa 80:12
so let whomsoever will, remember it—
Verse 13 — Surah Abasa 80:13
on pages honored
Verse 14 — Surah Abasa 80:14
exalted and purified
Verse 15 — Surah Abasa 80:15
in the hands of scribes
Verse 16 — Surah Abasa 80:16
noble and pious
Verse 17 — Surah Abasa 80:17
May man perish! How ungrateful is he
Verse 18 — Surah Abasa 80:18
From what thing did He create him
Verse 19 — Surah Abasa 80:19
From a drop He created him, then proportioned him
Verse 20 — Surah Abasa 80:20
then He made the way easy for him
Verse 21 — Surah Abasa 80:21
Then He caused him to die and buried him
Verse 22 — Surah Abasa 80:22
Then, when He willed, He resurrected him
Verse 23 — Surah Abasa 80:23
Nay! But he has not accomplished what He commanded him
Verse 24 — Surah Abasa 80:24
So let man consider his food
Verse 25 — Surah Abasa 80:25
that We pour down water in abundance
Verse 26 — Surah Abasa 80:26
then We split the earth in fissures
Verse 27 — Surah Abasa 80:27
and cause grains to grow therein
Verse 28 — Surah Abasa 80:28
and vines and herbs
Verse 29 — Surah Abasa 80:29
and olives and date palms
Verse 30 — Surah Abasa 80:30
and gardens densely planted
Verse 31 — Surah Abasa 80:31
and fruit and pastures
Verse 32 — Surah Abasa 80:32
as sustenance for you and for your flocks
Verse 33 — Surah Abasa 80:33
So when the Piercing Cry does come
Verse 34 — Surah Abasa 80:34
that Day when a man will flee from his brother
Verse 35 — Surah Abasa 80:35
and his mother and his father
Verse 36 — Surah Abasa 80:36
and his spouse and his children
Verse 37 — Surah Abasa 80:37
For every man that Day his affair shall suffice him
Verse 38 — Surah Abasa 80:38
Faces that Day shall be shining, radiant
Verse 39 — Surah Abasa 80:39
laughing, joyous
Verse 40 — Surah Abasa 80:40
And faces that Day shall be covered with dust
Verse 41 — Surah Abasa 80:41
overspread with darkness
Verse 42 — Surah Abasa 80:42
Those, they are the disbelievers, the profligates
