    Verse 1

    By those [stars] who rise only to sit

    Verse 2

    And move [in their orbits] steadily

    Verse 3

    And float [through space] smoothly

    Verse 4

    And yet some overtake [others] swiftly

    Verse 5

    Thus they fulfill the [Creator's] purpose

    Verse 6

    On the Day when the world will shudder

    Verse 7

    Followed by a tremor

    Verse 8

    Hearts, that Day, will shiver

    Verse 9

    and eyes are humbled

    Verse 10

    They say, "Are we to be restored to the original condition

    Verse 11

    After we have turned into decayed bones

    Verse 12

    They say, "This will be a losing come back

    Verse 13

    But all it will take is a single blast

    Verse 14

    and they will be awake and above ground

    Verse 15

    Has there the story of Moses reached you

    Verse 16

    When his Lord called out to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa

    Verse 17

    Go to Pharaoh. For he has transgressed

    Verse 18

    and ask him, "Would you be willing to purify yourself

    Verse 19

    And I will guide you to your Lord so you would be in awe of Him

    Verse 20

    And he showed him the greatest sign

    Verse 21

    but Pharaoh rejected the offer and disobeyed

    Verse 22

    Then he hastily turned away

    Verse 23

    and gathered [his people] and proclaimed

    Verse 24

    I am your lord, the most high

    Verse 25

    So God seized him with punishment, as an example, in the life to come as well as in this life

    Verse 26

    In this, there is a warning for whomever would fear [God]

    Verse 27

    Are you more difficult to create or is the heaven that He built

    Verse 28

    He raised it high and proportioned it

    Verse 29

    He darkened its night and brought out its morning light

    Verse 30

    After that He spread out the earth

    Verse 31

    From it, He produced its water and its pasture

    Verse 32

    And He set the mountains firmly in place

    Verse 33

    for you and for your animals to enjoy

    Verse 34

    But when the Great Calamity arrives

    Verse 35

    a Day when the human being will remember what he has done

    Verse 36

    and Hell will be there for all to see

    Verse 37

    for him who transgressed

    Verse 38

    and preferred the life of this world

    Verse 39

    Hell will be his home

    Verse 40

    But as for him who feared to stand one day in front of his Lord and therefore restrained himself from following his whims and desires

    Verse 41

    then Heaven will be home

    Verse 42

    They ask you about the Hour, "When will it take place

    Verse 43

    How can you possibly know that

    Verse 44

    Its time is only known to your Lord

    Verse 45

    You are only to warn those who dread it

    Verse 46

    On the Day they see it, it will seem as though they only stayed an evening or a morning
